Join us at our monthly dog adoption events in San Diego!

All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, so these events are a great opportunity to meet some of our four-legged friends in person. We do not have a central shelter – so if you’re looking for a particular dog, it’s best to schedule a private meet-and-greet appointment at the foster family’s convenience.

Events also help to educate the community about dog overpopulation and the need for spaying/neutering, foster homes, and Second Chance Dog Rescue’s mission and core values.
